I’ve been looking through posts here and on BGG and couldn’t find an answer.
If an adjustment to the time track is required when rolling on Table F for the search step, am I required to resolve the time track adjustment first before applying the details in the ‘details‘ section of the table? Or, can I resolve the time and details columns in any order I choose.
I ask because it could make a difference if the time track adjustment takes me into combat or requires me to spend oil or rations. What I find may help. Thematically it makes more sense to me to always resolve the time adjustment first as it took that amount of time to find the item and I ran into some issues that I needed to address while searching. Then I can collect whatever I found.
Curious as to what was intended though.
Thank you so much for the reply!
Hi Paul, great question. The time track is dealt with before the find result. Deal with any triggered effects first (Oil, Wandering Monster, Food), then deal with the results from table F.
