I noticed the Beastman Archer profile in the companion doesn't have Surprise like most ranged units, but instead has the stat bump and appearance rarity of a champion. Is that a typo?

The rules suggest a quest need not end once the objectives have been met. Is that accurate? It would seem one can still spend time exploring the dungeon, then opt to quit once ready.
