Quick question about taming beasts, check to see if my math is correct: We bought an eagle in the market, so it starts at level one. We can only attempt to train it one time (since it is level one). But successful training only gives it one pip and you can only train between quests. (Lost Tome of Extraordinary Rules, pg. 6) So, we have to complete ten quests to have ten "between quest" times and each of the ten training attempts has to succeed to gain only a single level. It gets better if we do achieve the level because then the eagle will be level two so would require only five "between quests" times to level up...assuming that each attempt is successful. By my math, it would take approximately 32 quests of flawless training attempts to bring a beast up to maximum level, and half of those quests are spent just bring the beast up to level 3 (10 quests to make the second level, 5 quests to make the third level). Any training failures means that all training stops until you complete the next quest. This seems to be opposite of most levelling systems where the level gains are easy at the beginning and get progressively harder to get higher levels. Is my math right? Am I missing something here?

Saw that there was an update to D100. Is there a list of changes somewhere?
