Sorry of this has been asked before - If I roll a '1' or '2' for Monster Reaction (If monster has less than 1/2 HP gain +5/+10 AV,) does it still attack that round?
Also, how long does the increase last?

Yes, the monster will attack and the bonus last for just the round.
