I’m trying to figure out a way to add miniature/ hex based combat to d100 dungeon. Do you have any suggestions? I’m experimenting with fantasy trip melee /wizard combat system and rangers of shadow deep AI.
The World Builder Supplement adds Hex Crawl - in its own way, I do like its implementation, but you needs planning out - due to the supply management this introduces. Coming from a TOR (The One Ring) RPG, I like this 'movement phase'
As for miniatures, this game doesn't need them, although I have 15mm miniatures that I use as markers on my drawn dungeons (I use 10mm dotted paper).
I did originally use miniatures to show the 'monster(s)' but now I use small dice as Hit point markers.
I'd like the RoSD game, it would be interesting to know how your experiments panned out.
Agree, I think a hybrid ROSD and D100 would be neat. Very interested in knowing how your experiment works out as well!
