All the love for the game, Mr. Knight and the community!
I've had a look around (apologies if I've missed it) but has anyone made a "Before you next Quest" list with all the expansion content? Thanks in advance and happy holidays!
Hi ethpiz, I don't think I have seen one. You have steps 1-9 in the core rulebook and then witchery is step 10 and artisan step 11. In book 6 The World Builder expansion, a list is proved in the form of table (WB) S - Settlements. I hope this helps.
I was wondering on how to implement training in martial artistry in World Builder. I didn't see it mentioned on (WB) S - Settlements. In my imagination, It seems like something that would only be offered/or contact found at a bustling city. I'm planning to house-rule it unless I am missing a rule somewhere. Thoughts?
I was thinking of the following rules would be in keeping with the world builder rules on settlements.
For Learning: First check if the settlement has someone to teach the adventurer (Camp-35%, Village-50%, Town-75%, City- always). Costs to learn at a Camp-5500gp, Village-5000gp, Town-4500gp, or City- 4000gp. Then mark off 1d3+1 months on the calendar. Deal with triggered days, circled days, and dates with arrows as they are marked off.
For Training: First check if the settlement has someone to train the adventurer (Camp-35%, Village-50%, Town-75%, City-always). Costs to train at a Camp-800gp, Village-750gp, Town-700gp, or City- 650gp.
Wow, thanks, Martin! I forgot all about the "months" of training an adventurer endures. I appreciate the swift response and the well-crafted response. Keep up the phenomenal work.
