I might be missing something... Because the bonus to bridge crew applies to CM, which seems to be used for all ship-related tasks outside boarding actions, is there any use for pilots, navigators, and so on? Dividing crew between bridge and security (for boardings) seems the only efficient way to do things. Is there a cap somewhere on how many crew get assigned to a certain slot?

The character sheet damage location info is different from that on p. 16. Vitals and waist are reversed, and both have +1 modifiers. This seems to be unintentional!

Loving this game! Side quests 1. For side quests that spawn encounters in every room, are those encounters rolled in addition to red room encounters and time track encounters? 2. If returning to a settlement after a side quest, do you roll on the Empire Investments table? (I.e., are "side quests" "quests"?) Quests In the Cloak of Bravery quest, there's a boss monster that appears after 6 Fear encounters. Can that monster escape? If it does, can you fail the quest, return to the dungeon, and have another 6 Fear encounters to trigger its reappearance?
