Hello I have a few questions in regard of difficulty scaling. Me and my girlfriend finished the first campaign and all sidequests. Our characters have pretty much all stats maxed out and have a lot of legendary items equiped. We started to do random missions but we have a little problem: Combat just doesn't feel challanging anymore :( we pretty much one shot kill every monster ecxept maybe Balgore but even that one doesn't pose any real threat. Also the fact that Life Points and HP has no cap doesn't help this. We pretty much feel like playing immortal characters by now and the fun that comes from the "high risk high reward" OSR feeling we had at the beginning has faded quite a bit by now. We feel a bit sad about it and started to play less frequently. :( My questions is: Is there a way to scale monsters for high level characters? Is there something like this planned? Maybe an Elite variant of the monster list with higher stats and rewards and an alternative challange table for dungeon challanges? I feel like the infinite HP and Life Point Scaling should be compensated by a equivalent monster scaling rule to continue to make things intresting and dangerous. Maybe this could be a good reason to make use of potions and maybe some of the utility spells. Also another question (maybe more of a suggestion): After a lot of missions and combats we just didn't find any real use for ranged weapons after the first levels. Damage of 2 handed ranged weapons just doesn't scale as well as dual wielding melee. So we always default to using dual wielding melee weapons. Is there something in the works to mitigate this? Thank you in advance for your answer and for your work on this amazing game. P.S. Sorry about the wall of text :) Best regards Marco

First of all let me thank you again for this wonderful game. Me and my girlfriend started playing about 2 months ago and really enjoy playing in the evening after work. Also as we love this game so much we already bought all supplements :) As for the questions: My girlfriend had a Superior Claymore and stumbled upon a Boost that makes a piece of equipment "Legendary" so she opted for the Superior Claymore and it became a Superior Claymore of the Titans (+5 DMG, so +10 DMG Total) is this OK with the rules and balancing of the game? We're about to finish the first campaign and he hoarded quite a few Life Points and Fate. So my question is: Is there a hard Cap for Life Points and Fate points? After the lucky "Superior Legendary" event we asked ourselfs if we could implement this in the Artisan System so we came up with the idea of being able to craft Superior Legendaries if one already has the Legendary Schematics by tweaking the rules a little. EX: I have the schematics to craft a Claymore of the Titans so if i would craft a Superior Claymore of the Titans i'll add 2x the base materials of the Claymore + materials of the Legendary + materials of the Superior. Also this would work for a Finer and Greater too but only if one already has the Legendary Schematics. Is this bending the rules too much? Last question: Does the "Salvage Dungeon" test count for ART and Salvage experience advancement? Thanks in advance for your answers. Best regards

First of all thank you so much for this game. I just discovered it and it's exactly what i was looking for. I absolutely love it :) Can't wait to explore the overland and wilderness with the World Builder addon next year. My questions regarding the rules are: 1. How do i escape from combat when playing with a party and will monsters still stay in the dungeon area if one manages to escape? Does everyone write the monster on the dungeon sheet if everyone escapes? And how will combat work if let's say just one party member escaped and the monster is then fought again? 2. Is it possible to discard items from the backpack during a quest if my backpack is already full and i want to pick up a better item? Thanks in advance for your help.
